A Year of Training – Week 30

Monday –  45 minutes aerobic bike as recovery.  Little stiff from Sunday’s long run but was good to loosen up.

Tuesday – Rykert loops with XSNRG.  Felt absolutely dead in the legs but when I looked at my stats later, this was no where near as bad as I felt.

Wednesday – Break the Crank on the bike.  QUAD burn.  Sprinting.  Hills.  #AlltheSquats

Thursday –  40 minute recovery run with the dog.  Had a lot of trouble keeping my heart rate low enough.  Heart rate spiked when dog picked up some sort of dead thing.  Sigh.  Quick core work afterwards.

Friday – Lots of descending 100s in the pool.  Wasn’t feeling great in the water and had trouble changing gears, but pushed through.

Saturday – RECOVERY DAY.  IT WAS AWESOME!

Sunday – Overdressed for my long run, but this was an interesting workout with 20 minutes of 1 minute sprint, 1 minute recovery in the middle.  Felt THE BURN.  This was hard after about 12 minutes.
